Quiet Time – The calm before the storm

So, I’ve been very, very quiet. I know this. It’s not that I haven’t been cooking, I have. I just haven’t taken time to write up what I’ve been up to. I made a lasagna for Mother’s Day, which I intend to share the recipe for, I just have to make it again and write it down. I’ve made significant enough changes to both my regular tomato sauce and my meat sauce that they deserve brand new write ups.

I made a wonderful marinade and glaze for Cornish hens, both use tangerine juice and both need me to take the time to write them down and share them. Lately I seem to be living on omelettes filled with goat cheese & ham or bacon or all three. That’s when I feel like cooking, been doing a lot of eating out and ordering in as well.

And so I’ve gone quiet. There’s been a lot to think about, along with the other transitory stresses in my life. I’ve got plans for this site, and for some other stuff, that will be discussed at a later date, but for a hint I have an appointment on Monday to discuss possibilities.

In the mean time, I’ve got Paris, Strasbourg & Bruges coming up, I leave on Wednesday and I’m finally excited about that, so I know there will be a bunch of posts coming, along with lots of pictures commentary and maybe even some video! Once I’m back it’ll be back to the kitchen and all of the recipes mentioned above will get made, and get up on the site.

Things are about to get busy again!
